NORTH CAROLINA, USA — Two North Carolina natives will be looking for love in Fiji on the upcoming sixth season of "Love Island USA."
Love Island, a messy, drama-filled reality show where a group of islanders who are looking for love gather together to "have chats" and stir up drama, is returning to "Casa Amor" this season.
And, this year, "Vanderpump Rules" reality star Ariana Madix, a huge fan of the show and no stranger to romantic drama herself, is the host.
On Tuesday, Peacock revealed the cast of the new season. The cast includes two North Carolina natives and one is from the Charlotte area!
Coye Simmons, a 28-year-old Winston-Salem native, and Hannah Smith, a 26-year-old Concord native, who currently lives in Charlotte, will be among the first group of 10 daters on the island.
Simmons works in the Winston-Salem school district and is the son of the 90s female rapper Shocky Shay. One of his celebrity crushes is Kim Kardashian. Will Simmons find his "Kim" in Fiji? I guess we'll have to watch and see!
Smith, who currently lives in Charlotte and works as a bottle server, goes by the nickname "Goofy" and has a fear of flying and turbulence. Maybe she'll catch a boat to Fiji instead of a plane?
Love Island USA Season 6 premiers Tuesday, June 11 and will only be available to stream on Peacock. For the binge-watchers out there, the show will drop a new episode every day!
