'OMG,' Usher is playing 2 shows in Charlotte this fall on his tour

Usher will perform in the Queen City on Oct. 22 and Oct. 23.

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — "OMG" -- Usher is coming to Charlotte on tour. "Yeah!" You read that right.

The eight-time Grammy award-winner singer is kicking off the "USHER: Past Present Future" tour in August.

If you want to see the "Superstar," he'll be in the Queen City on Tuesday, Oct. 22 and Wednesday, Oct. 23 at the Spectrum Center. The second Charlotte show was added to the tour after the initial tour announcement, in response to "incredible fan demand."

Ticket presales start Feb. 7, and general on-sale begins at 10 a.m. on Monday, Feb. 12.

He's expected to perform songs from across his 30-year career, including from his new album "Coming Home" -- his first solo album in eight years. It's set to drop on Friday, Feb. 9.

The tour comes after Usher wrapped his two-year residency in Las Vegas, with 100 sold out shows at Dolby Live at Park MGM. Usher is also performing at the Super Bowl halftime show on Sunday, Feb. 11.
