Christina H Koch, an astronaut on the International Space Station, tweeted a rare photo of North Carolina, as seen from space.
Koch said in her post: It took my breath away as it came into focus. My first glimpse of coastal North Carolina from space.
Koch grew up in North Carolina and said it's special to see your home from above.
It’s a special thing to see from above the place where you grew up--the ocean that first inspired my fascination with things that make me feel small & planted the seed to explore.
