HUNTERSVILLE, N.C. -- One person was killed and three others were injured in a crash in Huntersville Thursday morning.
Huntersville Police say officers were dispatched to a three-car carsh at the intersection of Sam Furr Road and Westmoreland Road just beofre 7 a.m. The vehicles involved were a passenger car, pick-up truck, and cargo van.
Officials say the driver of the car was pronounced dead at the scene by Medic. A child that was a passenger in the backseat of the car was taken to CMC with life-threatening injuries. The drivers of the other two vehicles suffered injuries that are not considered life-threatening in the accident.
