BELMONT, N.C. — Police are investigating at an apartment complex where two people were found dead on Tuesday.
A man and a woman were found dead at The Chronicle Mill, an apartment complex on East Catawba Street in Belmont around 3:50 p.m.
The Belmont Police Department says the deaths were a result of a murder-suicide relating to a domestic violence incident.
On Thursday, Belmont Police Department announced the names of the victims as 61-year-old Roseanne Haynes and 60-year-old Marshall Lee McRoberts. Both had gunshot wounds. It is not being released at this time how those gunshot wounds were inflicted.
