3 people hurt in overnight shootings

Two people were hurt in a shooting on Edgegreen Drive and another person was shot near Uptown.

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Three people were seriously hurt in shootings in Charlotte on Sunday morning, according to Medic. 

Two people were hurt in a shooting on Edgegreen Drive and one person was shot and left with serious injuries on the 600 block of East 8th Street near Uptown.

Both shootings happened in the early hours of Sunday.
