LANCASTER, S.C. — Three people are dead following a head-on crash in Lancaster County on Friday, according to South Carolina Highway Patrol officials.
The crash happened around 10:30 p.m. on North Rocky River Road, about eight miles east of Lancaster.
A Toyota pickup truck carrying two people was driving south on N. Rocky River Road and a second truck was driving north. The two trucks collided.
Both the driver and the passenger of the Toyota pickup truck died as a result of the crash.
The driver of the second pickup truck also died.
Officials have not released the identities of the three victims.
