CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- A death investigation was underway in southwest Charlotte after authorities found a young woman's body in a wooded area Monday night.
According to Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police, the body of 28-year-old Samechicko Williams was found in the 200 block of Ann Marie Drive.
The cause and manner of Williams' death were listed as pending, but police said no signs of trauma were noted.
