CHESTER COUNTY, S.C. — A person was found dead inside a burning vehicle in Chester County on Saturday.
The vehicle was on fire on Turnbuckle Road, just off South Carolina Highway 9 near Chester. Chester County deputies discovered a deceased body inside the vehicle. The Chester County Sheriff's Office requested the South Carolina Law Enforcement Division (SLED) to take the lead in the investigation.
Authorities have not released further details about the identity of the victim or the circumstances surrounding the fire.
