CATS bus hits pedestrian at Charlotte Transportation Center

Medic says one person was treated for non-life-threatening injures.

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — One person was injured after a CATS bus hit a pedestrian Monday at the Charlotte Transportation Center, according to the transit agency.

Medic says one person was treated for non-life-threatening injuries. 

CATS released the following statement about the incident:

"We can confirm CATS bus 1097 made contact with one pedestrian around 1:33 p.m. today at the Charlotte Transportation Center near Bay P. Medic is on scene, reporting one patient with non life threatening injuries. Please reach out to CMPD for more details as they are handling this investigation."
