CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Fat Cat Burgers + Bakeshop closed its doors for the last time earlier this month, the owner announced in a social media post.
The Dilworth staple, which has been serving the Charlotte area for 14 years, closed last week and its location has been sold, according to owner Fran Scribelli. Its new owners were opening an "Asian noodle shop" in its place.
"Thank you Charlotte for allowing me to serve you for 14 terrific years in Dilworth!," Fran Scribelli, said in a Facebook post.
No word on whether Fat Cats has plans to reopen at this time.
