CHARLOTTE, N.C. — If you're hearing unusual sounds near the Ally Center Saturday, Feb. 5, don't be alarmed.
The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department said its bomb squad would be conducting a training exercise at the Ally Center at 601 S. Tryon St. from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.
You'll see bomb squad vehicles onsite, and some areas may be restricted.
In a tweet, CMPD thanked Ally for giving us the opportunity to train in their office environment.
