CMPD searching for child believed to have left home in the middle of the night

Anyone who sees her or knows where she is is asked to contact police.

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police are asking for the public's help as they search for a missing girl. 

Elisa Oziah Moore, 11, was last seen leaving her home on Gold Pan Road in east Charlotte around 3 a.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 26. CMPD said they received a call reporting her missing around 7:20 a.m. Tuesday.

She is about 5 feet and 2 inches tall and weighs roughly 200 pounds. She has black hair and brown eyes, and was last known to be wearing pants and a jacket with white Crocs, and has a pink and black backpack with "Justice" printed on it. 

Anyone who sees her or knows where she is is asked to contact police.
