The district is now building its 12th elementary school to keep up.

For a period earlier this year, the district had to enact an enrollment freeze on three campuses. It was aimed at helping maintain favorable teacher-student ratios.

The new school is all thanks to impact fees paid by developers building new projects in the area, helping build infrastructure without requesting more from taxpayers.
