As older generations begin to retire and leave the workforce, labor gaps are being exploited.

For the past 25 years, there has been what Goldman Sachs referred to as a a "quiet revolution" among working women. In the U.S., a near-record number of women between 25 and 54 are currently employed.

Experts say that trend needs to continue in order to keep the economy healthy.
