Missing Cornelius woman returns home, police say

A Cornelius woman who was reported missing on Christmas Day returned home this week, detectives said.

CORNELIUS, N.C. — The Cornelius Police Department said a woman who was last seen on Christmas Day returned home on Wednesday.

The 33-year-old was reported missing on Dec. 30, nearly a week after she was last seen. Police said she might've been in the University City area of Charlotte.
