CHARLOTTE, N.C. — A deadly crash is under investigation in north Charlotte.
The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department says the crash happened on Highland Creek Parkway near Ridge Road on Thursday. A motorcycle was involved and at least one person is dead, police said.
Investigators have not said how many people were hurt or killed in the crash. The cause of the crash has not been released.
No victims' names have been released at this time. It's unclear if anyone will face charges.
CMPD is asking people to avoid the area and seek alternate routes.
