CHARLOTTE, N.C. — A shooting in northwest Charlotte left one person dead on Sunday night.
The shooting happened on Glenwood Drive just south of I-85, according to CMPD.
Medic initially said that one person suffered life-threatening injuries in the shooting but the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department put an alert out that one person was killed in the shooting.
Police have labeled the person's death a homicide.
The victim's name has not been released. Police have not said if a suspect was arrested.
