INDIAN TRAIL, N.C. — A large house fire broke out early Saturday morning in Indian Trail, prompting a response from Union County Sheriff's Office deputies and multiple local fire departments.
The fire happened at a home in the 3800 block of Cardinal Bluff Lane.
When they got to the scene, firefighters quickly helped people evacuate. All residents received medical attention and are reported to be OK.
The fire is contained, but crews will remain on site for several hours to investigate the cause of the blaze.
The sheriff's office is urged drivers to be careful in the area and avoid driving over any deployed fire hoses.
