CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Linda Davidson was on her way to work this morning when water began coming up to her seats, she was experiencing a flash flood.
Torrential downpour turned into knee high standing water that seeped into Linda Davidson's car as she was taking her usual route to work on Trailer drive.
The rising waters took control of her car and she became stuck, pushed from side to side by big trucks.
"My car just moved on its own, I had no control over it," Davidson said.
With the help of fire crews she was able to escape.
When asked what she was thinking during the terrifying experience Davidson said one word, death.
Multiple flash floods occurred throughout Charlotte this morning as heavy rain and thunderstorms came down upon the Queen City.
