CHARLOTTE, N.C. — The Charlotte Fire Department extinguished a fire at a brewery in Noda.
The fire happened at Heist Brewery on North Davidson Street around 7 p.m. on Tuesday. The fire was controlled in 40 minutes. A second alarm call for service was struck as crews battled the fire.
Medic said no injuries were reported in the fire.
The Charlotte Fire Department said smoke was showing from the roof of the building when firefighters arrived.
"We had a minor fire in our facility this evening," Heist Brewery staff wrote on Instagram. "Our staff acted very quickly to assist all of our guests out of the building, and no injuries were sustained."
The location will be closed temporarily, according to the post.
The fire is under further investigation by the Charlotte Fire Department.
