CORNELIUS, N.C. — Firefighters with the Cornelius-Lemley Fire Rescue rescued a construction worker who was stuck in a lift, according to the department.
The fire crew had just finished up training at an apartment building under construction when the site's foreman told them one of his workers was stuck in a stalled lift on the side of the building.
He was not hurt, but needed help. He was about 30 feet up in the air.
Two fire crews were able to use their ladder to help the worker get down to the ground.
