CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Firefighters worked to put out flames on the roof of an east Charlotte shopping center on Sunday, according to the Charlotte Fire Department.
The fire broke out on the 5500 block of Albemarle Rd. in east Charlotte.

On Sunday afternoon, firefighters were focused on the roof of a Mexican restaurant called Carnitas Guanajuato.
