MEXICO BEACH, Fla. (WFLA) - Country star Brian Kelley of the band Florida Georgia Line is headed to Florida this week to help victims of Hurricane Michael.
Kelley is a Florida native and announced on Instagram he's heading to his home state on Monday with his wife Brittney.
"Florida's been on my heart and my mind since Hurricane Michael came through and devastated a lot of areas," he said in a video posted over the weekend. "Brittney and I are headed down there Monday. We're bringing some helping hands, some supplies."
In his video, Kelley indicates they'll be hitting some of the hardest hit areas, saying, "Panama City, Port St. Joe, Mexico Beach, Apalachicola - we're coming."
