GASTONIA, N.C. — The Gastonia Police Department says a motorcyclist died after a crash with another vehicle Saturday afternoon.
Officers said it happened near the intersection of Carolina Avenue and Jackson Road around 4:30 p.m., just west of South York Road. Specific details about the crash were not immediately available.
Caleb Sisk was the man killed in the crash, according to his co-workers at the Tattoo Factory in Gastonia. His co-workers described Sisk as a caring husband and father and said he was very passionate about what he did.
A GoFundMe has been set up for Sisk's family. Anyone interested in donating can do so here.
Gastonia Police ask anyone in the area who may have more information or who may have seen what happened to call (704) 866-6702 to talk with an officer.
