GASTONIA, N.C. — Gastonia residents will soon be able to pay their utility bills with remote kiosks set up across town.
The city government announced Thursday it would set up five walk-up kiosks to allow customers to pay the bills through their Two Rivers Utilities accounts. Crystal Certain, the director of financial services, said the goal is to offer more options for residents to handle business.
"These kiosks will provide a convenient way for all of our customers to access their accounts and to pay their utility bills at locations near them or while they are out in the community," she said.
The kiosks will be set up at the following locations:
- The Food Lion at 111 West Garrison Boulevard
- The Food Lion at 1024 West Hudson Boulevard
- The Food Lion at 2601 South New Hope Road
- The WOW Supermarket at 2557 West Franklin Boulevard
- Outside of the Garland Business Center at 150 South York Street
Fees may apply for using a kiosk. Residents may also be able to communicate with a customer service representative at some of them.
The kiosks at the three Food Lion locations can handle cash payments. Customers will need their 8-digit city of Gastonia account number and address to make kiosk payments.
Other options for bill payment include automatic bank draft, payment by mail, 24-hour payment drop boxes, payment by phone, online payment, and in-person. Fees may apply for some payment methods. More details are available online.
