GASTONIA, N.C. — Two kids are hospitalized after a shooting in Gastonia late Friday night, police said.
Gastonia Police responded to a shooting just before 10 p.m. on March 29. It happened along Southside Avenue, just off East Hudson Boulevard on the south side of town.
Three people were shot during the incident. Two of the victims were children, according to police, who said both victims are still hospitalized in Charlotte. The Gastonia Police Department hasn't released the ages of those two victims. The third victim was taken to the hospital in a private vehicle, according to Gaston EMS.
No arrests have been made in the case and detectives haven't released any suspect information at this time. Anyone with information is asked to call CrimeStoppers of Gaston County at 704-861-8000. Any information leading to an arrest may be eligible for a reward up to $1,000.
