Art, music, demonstrations expected at Downtown Hickory Art Crawl

The art, which will be displayed over the span of four city blocks, is all for sale.

HICKORY, N.C. — A variety of forms of art -- including fabric art, pottery, paintings and more -- will line the streets in downtown Hickory on Thursday. It's all part of the Downtown Hickory Art Crawl.

The art crawl kicks off at 5 p.m. with two parties, one at Full Circle Arts on Third Street Northwest and one at Trade Alley Art on 2nd Street Northwest. Both locations will have maps of the art crawl to help people find participating artists.

The art, which will be displayed over the span of four city blocks, is all for sale.

The art crawl will also features face painters, entertainers, a "Little Monster" event from Hickory Ballet, and free performances from the Western Piedmont Symphony.
