CATAWBA COUNTY, N.C. -- A vacant mansion previously owned by former NASCAR driver Jeremy Mayfield will be burned to the ground.

The sprawling property sits in Catawba County.

Catawba Fire says the home will be burned down on Saturday as part of a training exercise.
