Four arrested during Keith Scott protests in uptown

Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police identified the four people arrested during Wednesday night's protests in uptown Charlotte.

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police identified the four people arrested during Wednesday night's protests in uptown Charlotte.

The demonstrations were on the heels of the District Attorney’s decision not to press charges against the CMPD officer who shot and killed Keith Lamont Scott in September.

Landon Rice, 22, James Marsicano, 23, Eleanor Everrette, 16, and Ngogloan Tran, 21, were each charged with obstructing traffic. Marsicano, 23, Eleanor Everrette, 16, and Ngogloan Tran, 21, were each charged with obstructing traffic. CMPD also charged Marsicano with resisting a public officer.

All four are scheduled to appear in court Thursday afternoon.
