Missing Lincolnton couple located, Lincoln County Sheriff's Office says

Two people from Lincolnton were reported missing on July 19. They were located after calling the Lincoln County Sheriff's Office.

LINCOLNTON, N.C. — The Lincoln County Sheriff's Office has located two people who were reported missing from the Startown Road area in Lincolnton.

On July 19, deputies were notified by the grandmother about her grandson and a woman were missing. They were last seen on July 15, leaving a home on the 3500 block of Startown Road in Lincolnton.

On Tuesday, the Lincoln County Sheriff's Office reported that the couple contacted their office and met with the investigator in Lincolnton, where their identities were confirmed.
