MATTHEWS, N.C. — The Matthews Police Department is looking for a 16-year-old girl who has been reported as missing.
Officers said Friday that Zayohnna Adiva Harris was last seen at the Microtel hotel on Matthews-Mint Hill Road, near Butler High School. She's about 5 feet tall and weighs about 140 pounds.
Harris has a brown ponytail with two French braids on each side, along with brown eyes. She has the name "Tony" tattooed on her left inner wrist and has two nose piercings: one is a stud, the other is a hoop. She was last seen wearing a jacket or a sweater along with black pants.
Anyone who knows where she is should call 9-1-1.
