Matthews police finds missing girl

She was last seen in the area of Matthews-Mint Hill Road and U.S. 74 around 11:30 p.m. on Feb. 22, police said.

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Police in Matthews were asking for the public's help finding a 13-year-old girl who was reported missing. 

She was last seen late Thursday night in the area of U.S. 74 and Matthews-Mint Hill Road, according to the Matthews Police Department

She is described as a Hispanic female who is approximately 5-foot-7. She weighs around 75 pounds and was last seen wearing a black T-shirt, black pants and a black puffy coat. No further details were released regarding her disappearance. 

Anyone with information is asked to call Matthews Police at 704-847-5555 immediately.
