CHARLOTTE, N.C. — The Mecklenburg County Courthouse was forced to close Friday after a possible sewer leak was discovered.
Officials told WCNC Charlotte the building was evacuated as ordered by Mark Hahn, director of the county's Asset and Facility Management Department. The building remained closed as of Saturday morning.
As of publication, a likely cause for the leak was not known. It is also not yet known how long the courthouse will remain closed.
