As an adventure park, it will have a greater focus on nature, with protected areas and wildlife viewing. It is also expected to have Beech Valley canopy walk, an adventure course for children, a community hub, a dog park, and multiple trails totaling 3.75 miles.

The final plan was influenced by community input regarding how to best include access, education and recreation within the park.
