BELMONT, N.C. — A search is underway for a Belmont man who went missing on Sept. 4, the police department said.
Jaylond R. Young, 28, was last seen in the Flowers Court community in Belmont on Aug. 29, police said.
Young may be driving a beige Jeep Grand Cherokee with license plate number LDH-3065, and he is thought to be in Gastonia, Charlotte, Albemarle, Rutherfordton, Gaffney, Blacksburg or Spartanburg, according to police.
Authorities described Young as a Black male, standing at five feet, eight inches and weighing 150 pounds.
