Missing Cabarrus County teen may be in Gastonia, police say

William Jeremie Johnson was last seen at a Charlotte Bank of America on July 2. Deputies say he they have reason to believe he's in Gastonia.

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Cabarrus County deputies are asking for the public's help locating a missing 14-year-old who was last seen in Charlotte earlier this week. 

William Jeremie Johnson was seen at a Bank of America in Charlotte on Tuesday, July 2. Investigators said they believe Johnson may be in the Gastonia area with people they haven't identified.

Johnson was entered into a national database as a missing juvenile. The circumstances around his disappearance haven't been released. He was last seen wearing a navy blue Charlotte Bobcats hat, a dark blue jacket, a black sweatshirt and glasses.

Anyone with information about William Johnson's whereabouts or information that could help deputies find him is asked to call the Cabarrus County Sheriff's Office at 704-920-3000 immediately.
