CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Detectives said an elderly Charlotte man who was reported missing Thursday was found safe later in the day.
The man, who reportedly lives with cognitive impairments, had last been seen leaving his home on Wrayhill Drive in northeast Charlotte in a black Chevrolet pickup around 10 a.m., Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police said. It's unclear where he was going at the time.
CMPD later reported he was located unharmed and reunited with his family.
