Teen reported missing from Optimist Hall in Charlotte after arm injury

E'shaunia Thompson is 15 years old hasn't been heard from since Wednesday, Oct. 9.

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Charlotte neighbors are being asked to keep an eye out for a teen who was last spotted at a popular food hall earlier this week.

The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department said E'shaunia Thompson, 15, was last spotted at The Dumpling Lady inside Optimist Hall on Wednesday, Oct. 9. At some point while inside the food hall, Thompson's arm was hurt. It's not known how it happened and if she got treatment. CMPD said Thompson's family is worried about her well-being.

Thompson is about 5 feet 8 inches tall. She weighs about 138 pounds and has brown hair and brown eyes. Thompson was last seen wearing a black shirt, checkered flannel pajama pants, and Crocs. She was also carrying a black bag.

Thompson is known to travel around Charlotte using CATS public transit services, including the buses and the LYNX system.

Anyone who knows where she is should call 9-1-1 immediately.
