YORK COUNTY, S.C. — A man who was reported missing in the middle of May 2024 was found dead on Tuesday.
Zachary Thai Patterson, 26, was first reported missing to the York County Sheriff's Office on May 11. He was last spotted in York at the time, specifically at a mobile home park along Lesslie Highway.
On June 25, deputies said he had been located, later confirming to WCNC Charlotte on Wednesday he was found dead in the Sharon community.
The cause and manner of Patterson's death are still under investigation. The sheriff's office said it hopes to share more information as detectives get more answers.
