Missing Iron Station man found safe, deputies say

He went missing after officials believed he crashed a car into a bridge on Monday.

LINCOLNTON, N.C. — The Lincoln County Sheriff's Office says a man from Iron Station who went missing after a crash has been found safe.

Deputies said the man's father reported him missing on Monday, Feb. 19. One day prior, the North Carolina State Highway Patrol responded to a car crash on Keever Dairy Farm Road, where a car had crashed into a bridge.

Officials could not find the occupants involved in the crash but believed that the man was the driver of the car that crashed.

His family had also not heard from him since the day of the crash and there was concern that he may have been hurt.

On Wednesday, Lincoln County deputies confirmed the man was located and found safe.
