No injuries after camper burns in Morganton

The fire happened on Carbon City Road.

MORGANTON, N.C. — Crews worked to put out a fire in Morganton that fully engulfed a camper on early Sunday morning.

The fire happened on Carbon City Road just before 4 a.m., according to a Morganton town spokesperson. 

Firefighters found the camper fully engulfed in flames. The fire was extinguished with no injuries reported. 

The Morganton Department of Public Safety is further investigating the fire.
