CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- NASCAR has postponed their XFINITY Series race as well as canceled on-track activity at Charlotte Motor Speedway due to effects of Hurricane Matthew.
According to NASCAR, the Two Spring Cup Series practices were slated for Friday.
The XFINITY Series was slated "to have Coors Light Pole Qualifying as well as its final race in the opening Round of 12 in the NASCAR XFINITY Series Chase."
The race has been postponed until Sunday with an expected start time of 11 a.m.
NASCAR says Saturday night's Spring Cup Series race, the Bank of America 500, is still on for 7 p.m.
