ROCK HILL, S.C. — Republican presidential candidate and former South Carolina Governor Nikki Haley announced she'll be stopping in Rock Hill for a campaign event in her home state this weekend.
As the South Carolina Republican primary inches closer, politicians and voters across the country are keeping a close eye on The Palmetto State.
Haley is expected to hold an event at the Magnolia Room in Rock Hill on Sunday, about a week after former President Donald Trump rallied near Myrtle Beach.
Haley's event is expected to kick off at 7 p.m.
According to the latest poll from Winthrop University, Trump still holds a strong lead above Haley. In fact, Trump has garnered the support of about 65% of likely Republican voters.
Trump also has the endorsement of current South Carolina Governor Henry McMaster.
