1 hurt in north Charlotte stabbing

The stabbing happened on Hankins Road near W.T. Harris Boulevard.

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — A stabbing in north Charlotte left one person hurt on Sunday. 

The stabbing happened on Hankins Road near W W.T. Harris Boulevard on Sunday just before midnight. Medic said one person suffered life-threatening injuries in the stabbing.

The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department has not provided any information on the stabbing. It's not clear if anyone will face charges or if there are any suspects.

The victim's name has not been released.
