LOWELL, N.C. -- A Lowell Police officer who is accused of having an inappropriate relationship with a minor has been indicted.
The officer, 51-year-old James Blair, was arrested by SBI agents on Thursday and charged with felony statutory rape of a child, and authorities say more charges are expected to be filed.
Blair has been suspended without pay.
