CHARLOTTE, N.C. — One person has died after being shot in an east Charlotte neighborhood, Sunday morning.
The shooting happened around 5 a.m. on Magnolia Hill Drive, according to Medic.
The patient went to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.
The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department said officers found a person with a gunshot wound when they arrived at a nearby location on Kilborne drive.
That is located right off Eastway Drive.
Police said the person died at the hospital.
