CHARLOTTE, N.C. — One person was seriously hurt and another person was evaluated by Medic after a house fire broke out on Friday night, according to the Charlotte Fire Department.
The fire happened on the 4600 block of Willard Street.
Firefighters arrived around 7 p.m. to find heavy smoke and flames coming from the single-family home.
Thirty firefighters controlled the blaze in about 13 minutes and no firefighters were injured.
Medic took one person to the hospital and evaluated another person.
The fire is still under investigation.
