LANCASTER, S.C. — One person was killed and four others were sent to the hospital following a crash in Lancaster County on Friday night, according to South Carolina Highway Patrol.
The deadly crash happened on Old Hickory Road near Boxcar Road around 8:30 p.m.
There were five people in an SUV when it went off the road and into a ditch, officials said. The car then hit a tree and overturned.
The crash is still under investigation.
