CHARLOTTE, N.C. — An extensive pickleball-themed center is coming to the Queen City.
The Tipsy Pickle is set to open in Charlotte's Camp North End in summer 2024. The facility is a 35,000-square-foot space focused on all things pickleball and entertainment. The area will feature six pickleball courts, three bars, food choices, and a wide array of entertainment options. It will be opened on 201 Camp Rd, Suite 107.
Mike Salzarulo and Tanner Brooks, two Charlotte businessmen, are the visionaries behind the complex.
“We love what pickleball brings to any occasion–recreation, friendly competition, and something to socialize around. But we’re not taking it too seriously," Salzaruloa said. "Tipsy Pickle is for anyone looking for good food, good drinks and good fun at an affordable price."
In addition to pickleball, the facility will also have golf simulators, ping pong, pool tables, shuffleboard, cornhole, and darts.
Developers say 25,000 square feet of the complex will be indoors and the remaining 10,000 square feet will be indoors.
The complex's development will be updated on its website.
